That's part of the fun though. I think it'd be hot if I didn't have access to an epidural, or if my husband wouldn't let me get one. Realistically, I wouldn't want an epidural as it can cause increased tearing due to you being unable to feel what's happening, it stops you from moving around, and it can potentially affect the baby too. But I'd like a water birth, or some sort of medication that lessens the pain but doesn't completely get rid of it. But that's less fun to imagine.
