I mean the idea of a blond Aztec god is fairly interesting conceptually. It's sort of like a She: A History of Adventure sorta deal where the fact that she's white is itself something that makes her fundamentally stand out from the people who worship her.
Though in more contemporary times there is a large blonde population in Mexico so it could always just do a "I like this body so I decided to possess her".
