The mainstream American Disney wouldn't do it because it would be too racist by today's standards and they don't like Scrooge being shown going from a positive to a negative. It insults their company. Besides, Don Rosa wouldn't approve of their ideas either because he would know that they would rename it a new "Ducktales". It's better to leave it to professionals from Europe who know Donald Duck comics better.

Otherwise, I support your idea and agree, but it's impossible for Disney to do that today, given the current things they're doing.
