I'm glad I did not see the movie, this thing was not included in the marketing. probably for "shock, surprise!" reveal, which is actually cool for them to consider and follow-through with (like Baby Yoda was not in the marketing for The Mandalorian), but... this very concept ruins the franchise

if they are genetic monsters instead of "dinosaurs" then what's the point?

and yes I understand fully that the tech is the same, and that they might be making a point that what we think are dinosaurs are really just monsters, too. it's still lame. the fantasy is dinosaurs, not monsters
