Petah Tikva Municipality Backs Man Who Prevented Teenager from Entering Shelter During Alarms "He's a Lovely Man": After the Israel Police *did not* arrest the man who prevented entry to the shelter in explicit violation of the law - the Petah Tikva Municipality came to his defense: Deputy Mayor Zadok Ben Moshe wrote in the building group: "He's a lovely man, he volunteers with us," and excused his behavior by saying, "He warned about the state of the shelters and the emergency and decided not to let other residents in." The building's residents did not remain silent and responded in the group, "This is not an excuse for his behavior, you see he allowed a woman to enter." It should be noted that there is a personal connection between the aforementioned deputy and that man; in 2024, he posted a laudatory post about him on Facebook in which he praises his activities when his vehicle was hit by a car in violation of the law.
