Just glad they had the sense to make it so that every subsequent release allowed the choice to use hiragana as well. Shame the original game never saw any rom hack to add this feature in though. And how the GBA version of the collection never got a JP release either (probably because they didn't need it since they had the saturn/PS2 versions which included full-featured versions as well as IV). Might have suffered a similar fate as Mother 1 with the squished kana.
