what the fuck was outside my house last night

>live in LA
>quiet street, nothing ever happens
>doorbell cam went off at 3:12 AM
>thought it was a raccoon or some shit
>checked it this morning
>It's NOT a person

this thing is like 6ft tall, looks like a trash can with armor
has one big glowing eye on a stick, like a camera or sensor
two arms?? no legs, it just kind of slid into frame and stopped
turned its top half like it was scanning the door
then left

no sound, no markings, no reason for it to be there
looked like some kind of weird gov robot or prototype drone
not a prank, I live alone and have no friends like that
trying to enhance the footage now but I’m honestly freaked the fuck out

anyone seen anything like this before?
is this military shit or something worse?
