Sure im "happy", but i can add that perhaps I am not joyful or jubilant.

There were very dark years. I have wounds. Im sure you do too.

Its cringe, but I take comfort in knowing im not alone- even when my peers abandoned me and all hope seemed lost, somehow, the night ended.

Ive been criticized for being too dramatic, but there is a passage that burned brightly when I needed it the most:

But ye art not of the world
>because thou were chosen
And so
>the world hateth ye

Be of good cheer. Be courageous and brave, and do charity when possible, even if its just being nice to someone who may not have deserved it.

In this way, I can say I am happy.
