I moved to this location 5 years ago and I moved when the dollar tree was leaving and a dollar general was replacing it. I was displeased as I find like you that dollar generals are ok but the products are as fun. and more pricey. call me a cheapsake but I love my $1 items and bonus if its food and they have a cooler like some do with $1 items. dollar general though does not go by $1 and you find many items not nearly that cheap at all. so the one local has some decent products but it's more the name brands so prices are a bit higher than normal. shame honestly as the dollar tree had a nice selection and was 1$ and it even had a huge ass cooler of items including drinks and poverty tier pizza and other goodies. haha I stalked that place constantly for items until it left and the less good dollar general took it's place.
