I think I'd rather hold onto humans as checks and balances, and doctors come in all kinds of skill levels and as much as humans can have an agenda I think it's naive to think companies controlling AI wouldn't either.
Maybe I'm a luddite but I just don't have faith in big tech. Something smaller (blahblah smaller model flawed, etc) and more regulated would be a lot more preferable at least.
