Just run them through google translate. It has a little tab for image translation now. You can also use yandex or other sites, but I think they're generally not as reliable.
If you go on twitter there's a pretty big community for custom mech models, and that's where I see a lot of people doing camo mechs or other "gritty" custom work. It's always been more around the hobby part of gundam scene. Lots of MaK and general kondo stuff as well. Just follow creators who make things you like.
Unfortunately they don't really use tags like #gundamcamo. It's always shit like #it's a sunny day so lets flash each other our gundams. I dunno why they do that.
