I get it, what you are saying, but it doesn't hold up, because they do not need our labor. They have LLM's and robots that can do everything better than 70% of people. Maybe 80% in 10 years.
What we really need is an elite level eugenics breeding program where we try to engineer better humans with significantly higher intelligence. If AI is going to outperform humans then we need to stop focusing so much on the tech and start focusing more on the biology to bring ourselves up to parity so that when we merge into one super-organism both halves of our conjoined being are valuable to the success of the super-organism.
