I wanna share my headcanon with you real quick, I think that in other realities when Goku isn't around her Tripitaka gets shot by the "Yellow Wind" demon, who in reality is a former fellow disciple at her monastery and acting in a jealous bid for him to tarnish her position as the chosen one and prevent her from bringing the scrolls back to the monastery. But since Goku is escorting her in this timeline, he gets in the way and gets shot, and then Tripitaka gets pissed and kicks the everloving crap out of Yellow Wind because she's also stronger from having to keep up with our Goku.
Thank you for playing as well, the feeling you put in your write-ins is top notch and your delving into the deep lore for gotcha moments shows a great deal of studying is at play. You bring a lot to the table!
