She's always been like that iirc and it's mostly her appearance in other Capcom media and especially the UDON comics that tend to forget that aspect of her character and just make her out to be more villainous.

Despite that, I always kind of assumed that Morrigan does still deceive/succ men the traditional way, but only for bad men who actually deserve it (which she's shown doing with Pyron in her Night Warriors ending)
