Each belt certainly looked unique and you wonder if they somehow played a part in the way the class played. You pick up the belt with the fan housed within it. It seemed far simpler than the rest being offered. It didn't seem to have any real gimmicks or flare and yet you were drawn to it. Certainly the one with the hand would no doubt give you access to magic and maybe the one with the strange buckle would offer access to some power regarding the past. Both seemed like powerful options that would give you an edge in PVP but as hold your choice in your hand it's description kept playing in your head.
You sense the indominable will to fight a never ending war and pave the path for future generations within it.
Simple, stubborn, but willing to fight tooth and nail if it meant the people you left behind were living well. That was your dad alright. "Alright dad...one more for the road? For old time's sake?" You whisper quietly before clearing your throat. "I choose this one." You say in a louder voice.
"Understood." The voice says and the remaining belts fade into nothingness. "Please step forward to design your character." You move closer to the mirror and see a unassuming male reflected holding your chosen belt. Immediately, the belt retracts into itself leaving only the buckle portion with the fan in your hands.
"Huh?" You flip the buckle in your hands to search it for some kind of button or lever to turn it back to it's normal form but find nothing. "How am I suppose to wear this now?" You wonder as you gingerly place the buckle on your waist. In response, the belt ejects out and wraps itself around you before tightening slightly. It was a bit snug but comfortable enough that you think you could run and preform regular acrobatics without worry of it getting into the way or falling off. "I guess that answers that." You say before turning back to the mirror. Back to familiar territory, you tap it with your index and middle finger. You point of view detaches itself from your eyes so you could get a full view of your character's avatar. There wasn't much to adjust, the full dive gear did most of the work to adjust and match the character to your real life body proportions. There was, of course, a bit of glamor work done to make sure the avatar fit the game world and be more athletics but that didn't stop players from adjusting the settings to be a bit shorter or taller. You quickly speed through some basic presets and adjusted a few colors here and there. The character you were more known for in your pro days was essentially just you as you weren't that big into character customization despite the plethora of options available.
