Let me put it this way:
If I saw these three inside the blue rectangles I wouldn't think "Where are they from?", while for the rest I would think "Is she mixed?" or "Is she foreign?", including the two blondes at the bottom left, who seem for all practical purposes "white", but there is something about them that stands out as unfamiliar or exotic.
