i feel like its one of the last wild places you can go to, places like japan are overrun with normie tourists and pajeets now. although its changing a lot, thailand is a weird mix of very peaceful and hospitable people, and the most degenerate accessible sex/nightlife industry, people both have the time of their lives and also fucking die there. it has a lot of anglosphere criminals running around and other shady business, if you cause some minor trouble you can pay off police, but if you happen to get arrested thai prison happens to be extremely brutal and medieval. their government is weirdly hands-off but also very rightwing and traditional, the country also has really beautiful nature and buddhist culture. sure normies will ruin it soon.
