The LiJun Wang he was referring to in the screenshot I posted earlier was doing similar work at the NEC Lab at Princeton. It was big news in 1999, that's partially how I knew where to look. It's definitely real. A bunch of UFO tards were camping outside the perimeter fence at UTTR when they saw this. They took a bunch of photos most of which show signs of radiation damage to the film. They also had health issues in the days following that sound a whole lot like radiation poisoning. They were interviewed by the local Fox affiliate, who went so far as to call UTTR about it. UTTR actually confirmed that there was an exercise, but fuck you on what. Other people also reported seeing it off I-80 to the local papers in Wendover and Toole.
