I just feel the need to say this. Gamera is usually kinda wimpy for a Kaiju but then you read the spinoff/adaptation media and his powerlevel spikes so fucking hard that it's honestly fucking hilarious
Toto in the Gamera the Brave movie
>Struggles greatly with Zedus, a pretty starter-tier Kaiju
>Doesn't do THAT much impressive stuff even after he gets his strength back
Toto in the novel adaptation
>Instantly learns Judo by just watching someone do it once when he's a baby. Uses it to fucking hurl Guiron into Barugon
>Oneshots Guiron immediately after
>Even before eating the rock he kicks Viras' ass.
>Solos his entire Showa roster 1v6
>Does a handstand on Zedus' tongue and blows him the fuck up after beating him senseless. Mind you Zedus was stronger than ever at this point and could even fly
