Y'know, as a zoomer, this is why things I envy about millenials and Xers. They lived through a time when cool new groundbreaking hardware was popping up every decade

>OG Doom to Halo
>Walkman to Ipod
>Sega genesis to PS2

Nowadays every new phone is about how it is sleeker by a centimeter and has a slightly better camera than the one I had 5 years ago. If it weren't for planned obsolescence, there would be no reason to buy a smartphone newer than one that came out in 2017.
