Many have very very very distant Palatinate German, but I'm talking like 1-10% on average at most. Did you know most British people have French ancestors from the 1600s? There was a massive wave of Huguenot immigration to England in the 1600s.
Anyway, here's my cousins DNA test results. As you can see 90+% Anglo-Celtic but a very small Germanic component too.
