You wanna hear a really crazy conspiracy? Chuck E. Cheese used to be a no-ngger-zone, where all the games worked. The pizza was good, and the animatronic show always ran on time without a hiccup. Most people wouldn't be able to believe that.

The state of a society can be determined by it's Chuck E. Cheese. In the 90s, it was a white kid's paradise. After the 90s, it was a no-go zone for whites.

No. It felt like it was the beginning of a new era. A nice one. Everything was pretty comfy, even for lower-middle-class people. There wasn't as much divide by any metric. Rich kids played with poor kids, people didn't really care about race at all because it wasn't pushed down their throats, and people still married their own. Technology was booming, but it didn't yet control people's lives. Kids played outside just as much as they played video games. Phones were used to call people. No real social media. Homes and cars were affordable and plentiful. You weren't considered a faulure if you didn't have a college degree and a career utilizing a degree. The list goes on. In a way, I really believe that the comfort was the downfall and people didn't see the decline coming. It hit them hard because of that. The world now is nothing like we were promised or envisioned. It's like a fucked up alternate universe where something went totally wrong. That's the only real accurate way to describe it.
