This is the way. Some clans can't even trust their own sires to tell them the full truth (Lasombra, Gangrel, Tzim, arguably Setites and Malks) even after a few kooky rites of passage so why the fuck would your freshly embraced ass trust other clans, sects, let alone splats? My players don't need to know why the Setite temple they're raiding thanks to the tip from that guy with the shaved head has a fleshlight Bastet chained in the basement, they just need to know that they better start running.
