In hindsight I really miss that time, especially the early 2000s. Even it being the post-9/11 era where there was this uncertainty and pessimism, as well as the start of the Iraq/Afghanistan wars.
There was still this feeling of social-cohesion. You had a bit of advanced technology but it didn't take over life yet, you could do a lot of the same things that you can do now.
No strong focus on transgenderism, identity politics, social media, etc. There was no OnlyFans.

Most normies went through a cringe phase where they had to learn to fit in, the differences is they went through it when they were teenagers and did so gradually over years surrounded by peers often going through the same teething issues, whereas we, having been ostracized since we were kids coming from fucked up households and sometimes mentally ill, were suddenly thrust into adult life with literally zero social skills.
