Anyway, the BR concept is based on appearance. Bruno Fernandes looks much "browner', has big lips, caramel skin etc. If you see him on the streets of Brazil you instantly assume he has some black or at least Arab ancestry.
Pic related is another Portuguese from Portugal. He'd also be considered white here, and again looks much less "white" than the guy in the OP.
Genetics doesn't mean much in the BR concept, because anyone here could be anything. You could have a light-skinned, blonde and blue-eyed guy who's 90% Armenian and 10% German or a black-haired, black-eyed guy who's 90% German and 10% Japanese. Such things happen. We go by immediate appearance here.
