Hi- to spur better traffic- which is better economic flow- roads are paved- but this involves the clearing of land (?) this is an unfortunate process in the building of cities. The ecosystem( Natural) will be affected- but the economic growth will be spurred. If you are an activist, it may help you to document the ecosystem that is in the area (fauna and flora) and work with organisations to highlight the importance of these ecosystems.
