I thought Genshin's gacha model was predatory but after helping out my parents cancelling their memberships on their boomer gacha games perhaps I've been to harsh on Hoyo. Boomer mobile games are so bad, you can only log in through facebook which nobody uses or instagram. I got blasted with 15 popup screens begging me to pay, they have like 5 different subscription services and it took me 1 hour to find a way to unsubscribe. Shit's wild. I guess Hoyo is ok all things considered.
