nta but ironically, gacha games for me hit a lot of the same buttons MMOs used to. Today the internet is so full of boring retards that it's more enjoyable to be parasocial than it is to be social and it gives that nice feeling of slow but steady progress.
That and it's actually cheaper than an MMO sub if you don't whale.
