insane bubble in physical cards, it's beanie baby 2.0, if you're old enough to remember. and that was not a recession indicator, it was a sign of boom times coming. when i was a little kid other kids would brag to me about how rich they were because of their parents stuffed animal collection. it lasted a couple years, but couldn't withstand the first liquidation wave. it was also a great time for ebay, which might be a buy here. also this is why i don't like the nasdaq exchange and prefer the nyse, difference between an auction and a dealer market on display.
