Battle Tree gimmicks at least are completely non-canon, I can excuse a non visible key stone somewhere, even in a pocket, but Z-moves are impossible to perform without the Z-toy and most of these fuckers don't have one, the game just lets them use battle gimmicks for difficulty sake, they don't really have them
