Not really. Utaha is canonically more attractive than Megumi and she's even seen as attractive but plain.
Misaki is described in the novel as plain but quirky, she has that "girl next door" looks and even looks a bit boyish in the manga.

I'm divided in the Offline Meet arc. I feel like the manga version is more realistic with Misaki and Yamazaki being unable to reach Satou and him having to come back on his own, but at the same time it makes Yamazaki look meaner by letting Satou stay on suicide island while he goes to Comiket
Also a hell of a heroic second wind for Misaki!
