"Remember when we were talking about those books we had?"

"Yes."

"And we both realized that there was an overlap. Well, I brought mine to Squid to investigate, and guess what? She has a book. Same as us."

"Mine was about the city, and the systems that are used to run it!"

No way. You set your hands on the glass display and stare into the chamber, where you see the encryption protocol working overtime to unveil something about the books. Just like before, your first instinct is that you're being messed with somehow.

"What does this mean...?" You ask, your eyebrows furrowed in absolute confusion.

"Apparently, both our books are heavily encrypted. You wouldn't think so from the contents, but the author, origin, date of writing, everything else is obscured. Squid can't crack it. All we got was the original filename."

"Quit holding out on us! What's that filename supposed to be? What's the big deal?"

Squid pulls up a window with the file properties of the two books.

You instinctively pull out your own file. You flip through the pages, looking over those animated oceans and beautiful scenes of human celebrations. You feel utterly disoriented at the idea of this book having some kind of deep secret. You don't even know what these names mean, but they seem to imply that they're part of a series? It's an awfully ominous title for a book.

"That's the second thing we wanted to talk to you about. Are you willing to hand yours over too? We're barely getting anything out of these two. Maybe with a third, we can find some kind of secret. Or minor difference that can help us get to the bottom of this. And if not, I think we can at least pull out the filename for you. Whatever the hell it means."

You clutch the book.app close to your chest. Phascomon stares at you in concern.

You don't really want to hand this over. It's yours, and while you're willing to share it with close friends, the idea of having them pick it apart and unravel its code is disturbing to you. You don't know if you can trust them to return it undamaged. At the same time, something is nagging at you. This whole situation is extremely odd, and you'd hate the idea of your childhood book hiding a deep secret from you.

>Hand it over. Let them do their own investigation on it. You want to know what this original filename is too. Ignorance isn't bliss.

>Refuse. You're better off not knowing. The book is the same as its always been, you're not going to look too deeply into it.
