Maryna Muzyka and her husband dreamed of opening their own coffee shop. Then, a year ago, Maryna's husband died defending Ukraine.

"If he can no longer make this dream come true himself, I have to fulfill it for both of us and tell people who Mykyta was," Maryna shared.

The coffee shop's name, "Kit Mykyta" (Cat Mykyta), comes from Maryna’s husband’s military call sign. Relatives and friends helped with the interior and the start of the business. The coffee shop was opened in just a month and a half in Mykolaiv.

Maryna says she wants visitors to understand the importance of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and to never forget the fallen Defenders.

"Everything here is in the style of combat cats because thanks to them we can drink coffee and eat something tasty and wake up every morning. I wanted to show this to people. And, of course, it’s a symbol to carry the memory of my husband," she said.
