The SM anime is good but most of the SMs who will be at MOIW25 aren't featured in it. If you want to know more about them, you can read their magazines, each idol has two 2 page comics that introduce their background. They're on the SM portal or if you prefer translations they should all be on the SM miraheze wiki.
As far as songs, I'd listen to the playlists for 10th, they cover a good mix of older and newer songs for every unit.
