>he said the line again
Fine. I'll play my part and if your gonna insist on just telling lies.
Christian posting on /pol/ really took off quite early around 2012 when the great tippening occured and athiests became the laughing stock of the internet and a sort of reactionary christianity became increasingly seen as a rejection of euphoric reddit faggotry which is also why the adoption of christ-chan dates back to around that period. It wasn't always so christian but it wasn't vocally obnoxiously athiest either and it was never election tourists that caused the shift toward religion. Anyone who tells you it was is lying through their teeth and has an agenda or is a useful idiot who wasn't here repeating those lies for free.
Simultaneously deus vult posting was one of the very biggest memes of those days having it's roots in the historical basis in the crusades tying into the reactionary anti-islamic sentiment about the refugees flooding into europe, was further fed by the overlap with the templar imagery in darksouls and the praise the sun meme which was also hugely popular in those days and grew even more from the /v/ cross posters who flooded over in 2014 with gamergate stuff a year or two later. You guys are so fucking full of shit. I'm not even saying /pol/ was always christian or that it's all sincere or anything but this narrative that get shilled about election tourists or redditors or what have you is a absolute steaming pile of horseshit.
