The lists are full of shit, I live overseas, have lived in numerous cities/countries, and Australian cities are fucking dogshit.
Any downsides of European cities (filled with antisocial minorities, shit maintenance, litter, crime) is made up 100x fold for the walkability, nightlife, culture, community, pubs etc.
