The girl takes a deep breath. Then another. “You’re right. Yeah, you’re right. But…” Her eyes harden. “Magical girls have been disappearing for months, now. I didn’t really think anything of it at first, it’s just a natural part of being a magical girl, but there haven’t been enough Witches to justify it. Maybe they got into fights with each other, and got angry, and… bad stuff happened, but for the Coordinator to be killed? Something deeper is at work here.” She exhales. “I don’t even know why I have to deal with this, there’s supposed to be some detective magical girl out there! She should be the one investigating this! But whatever, her shop has been closed for a while now, hopefully she didn’t get killed too.”

“…Why did you reach out to us?”

The girl looks down. “…Because I know there’s girls out there who don’t know anything about the politics of what’s going on. Whether they’re new, or just managed to isolate themselves away from it all. I don’t want… if there is a killer, I don’t want those girls to be in unnecessary danger. If you know there’s something out there, then you’ll be more prepared. But…” The girl’s eyes widen and she starts to panic once more. “I can’t refine my messages that well! It’s not like I can just pick out ‘magical girls that started in the last month’ or ‘girls who don’t know who the Coordinator is’! I sent out that message to every magical girl in the city! Which means-!” The girl looks up, frantically scanning the rooftops around them. “If the killer is a magical girl, she knows about this meeting too! Agh, I’m so screwed!”

She steps away, clearly ready to run.

“Alright, we all need to leave! I’ll give you guys a little time for one or two quick questions, but make it fast!!!!”
