What's more interesting is how other Olmec art looks too, a lot of it looks extremely Chinese and it's made with Jade. Some of it has Indian tropes. Others looks super African. Olmec stuff is super interesting past the big heads.
If you're interested I highly recommend checking out their stuff. The ruins are also very hi-tech looking.
