I don't really like the sensation of having facial hair myself. However, I think any amount can look nice on someone as long as it's well maintained. Actual full fledged beards aren't my thing, though. Short-mid length, like in your picrel, is ideal. I also think clean shaven looks (and feels) nice on others.
