It's really weird that someone that is clearly fairly high IQ, legitimately funny and doesn't need to suck up to the powers that be since he is off tv, is such a massive lefty. I assume this is because he grew up upper class (stem phd father and lawyer mother) and turned out even richer when becoming a celebrity. Never faced hardship and was pretty much always loved by everyone around him, didn't get to have that "shift to right" that a lot of other intelligent people get when they're young adults
