honestly is this even a question? It´s not my cup of tea but yaoi has some great drama.
From a writing perspective it´s yaoi>het>>>>>>yuri.
I don´t know why though. Maybe it´s the tension. Maybe yaoi actually goes into the darker aspects, of societal expectations and characters and their faults.

Honestly the more i think about it greater the cliff between yuri and yaoi quality becomes. Imagine someone confessing their love in a yaoi story. The difference of what could happen in the worst case and the best case makes for great drama.
