borderlands 3 is unironically the best as far as gameplay and endgame content goes (ignoring rarity changes). the only thing i dont like is how they decided to go about raid bosses by making it one big dungeon with multiple "raid bosses" with unique losses and one big super boss that was either hit or miss (wotan was fine but ive never finished the second raid). all borderlands 4 has to do is build on what 3 did, give us actual melee weapons, and for the love of god fix the pacing of the story quests
