I don't personally mind. Age matters less the older you get and age gap can be all kinds of patrician.
I just can't look at Gregor and think 'yep, this is the kind of guy that'd date a woman up to 10 years younger than himself'. The guy that often steps into a consoling older brother role the moment something more youthful is in the vicinity.
