The army finally passes, and you let the minotaur go, with it hurriedly heading deeper into its cave. Finally you reach an odd, almost forested area as you trail the robot raptor lady, with her finally telling you all, “Found the spot where the photo was taken.”
“Is the shard still present?”
“Negative, though there’s sign of something left in its place.” She sends visual of several more soldiers, both of the kind you just met and the ones that were at Majin Ozotto’s palace, several ships around, with a section of the area cordoned off and guarded. In the exact spot where the shard was, there… looks like there’s some person being kept in a containment field of some kind. Can’t make out the shape exactly. But… you swear you get a strange sense of familiarity as you look at the person.
You all regroup at the cliff overlooking the area. Piccolo tries to listen in carefully, remarking, “They are working with Ozotto, trying to keep whatever is in there in check before he arrives.”
“Any sign of the Dragon Ball?” you question.
He shakes his head. “No, but I think they’ve just secured it for the time being. So it likely is still in the area.”
“I’ll keep up the search.” Rozriz declares.
Hmm… what to do now?
>A. Let’s start searching as well, the Dragon Ball’s gonna be our main priority
>B. Maybe we can try to get that person out of the containment field they’re in? This might be a rescue mission now
>C. Okay, Basilea, you and I might need to cause a bit of a distraction to make this easier. Anyone else wanna join in?
>D. This might mean that this isn’t a trap set by Ozotto or Towa… which means we might just be able to turn it into one for them! Who’s up for it?
>E. Something else?
