It's not even 100% the KSVK's fault, it's just that M1891/Nemesis are real damn good (fucking Arcana is only a ~7.5% dmg increase with a less consistent ability) and it's directly outclassed by the WA2k. Even so, it's generally better to hang onto purples you aren't using, because even if you don't feel like using Springfield herself, the weapon might end up useful on a different upcoming RF support. Meanwhile the HG/SMG selection is abysmal with far too many weapons that are good on like 1 doll so it's better to take what you can get.

...You shouldn't be keeping ANY blue weapons. Purples are something like a 20% dmg increase on top of any Trait benefits, while the best golds are a 15% dmg increase on average (~19% for attuned weapons) without any special bonuses. Just absorb their appearance and discard.
