They fucked up the road near my parents house with that shit. It used to be a nice flat wide suburban road but now it's full of islands and chicanes and BULLSHIT that only serves to slow traffic, make overtaking cyclists impossible and generally cause more accidents. Hell you even get people speeding through there to avoid congestion on the surrounding main roads. They literally made it worse and more dangerous than it was before and as far as I know nobody in the local community was consulted about it, they just fucking did it on day.
