No, I was actually always at "Ross & co will not even be able to articulate to the EU bureaucrats what they want anyway". Which is still true. Jason Hall makes sense. Chet Faliszek makes sense. Ross just sounds like he wants something for nothing, not a proper right to maintain abandonware. There are too many IP complications involved, and this is not a "Abandon copyright & gas the kikes now" petition either. Which it could have been.
The signature push might as well be mostly organic, but it's all for the lulz.
