I think that rerun is a massive trap. I have Miyabi, she's been doing massive work on my account and I'd be lying if I said she's not a very strong DPS. The thing is though, the pieces have already been placed to keep her in check. I've been calculating this shit for a while, but these are just some of the things that'll happen or have already happened or will happen. I think if you for whatever reason like her, go for it, but if you just want her because she's "strong" I think you should skip.
>Future bosses won't be freezeable (Truth) (Next DA boss and newest elite enemy are both unfreezeable, pretty much tells us all we need to know about future enemies.)
>Higher resistance ceiling (Truth) (Miasma Priest raised the ceiling with 40% ice resistance, previously bosses had 20% resistance to whatever element, don't expect to just throw Miyabi at everything no matter the matchup in the future)
>Introduction of new damage types (Truth) (Rupture class being made and sheer force being a new stat that Miyabi doesn't take advantage of at all and new enemies having mechanics that will give her a harder time. Expect more specific supports that don't work with Miyabi's kit and instead buff the other agents.)
>Shiyu stages (Speculation) (They were pretty smart making the "next big DPS" Yixuan an Ether dps, essentially if you have both of them as a new player you might've just trolled yourself. From now on, for a long long time, I'd imagine both Shiyu sides will be completely different in terms of weaknesses. No more double ice/ether weak Shiyus. So either you're running Yixuan or Miyabi for the ice/ether side, the other side will be electric/fire/physical
>Deadly Assault (Speculation/Truth) (They just added Miasma Priest and there will be a new DA boss next patch too. I'd imagine we'll be getting more bosses added in DA faster than our pace in 1.X. The next few bosses in DA will be non ice weak / ice resistant as we already have 4/9 bosses who are weak to ice.
