Basically nobody in this thread or wider society at large have any clue whats going through the mind of a man like Thiel, despite the fact that hes rather forth coming about his concerns and designs. The way most people talk about Thiel and Elon you'd assume they were building a deathstar in lower earths orbit. I think men like Thiel and Elon when all is said and done will (hopefully) be remembered as the shepherds of a better future. Although speaking personally I don't think most of humanity is worth it.
