Of all the bad things in Kai, I think one of the worst offenders to pacing is the route slop. I was just finishing up Kevin's part in Act 3 where you visit the Tower 2 days ago. I'm finally somewhat hyped to see how it continues and instead of continuing with Kevin I am put on Van's route now, killing off any momentum. Happened multiple times, like after the Basel part in Rean's route. Whenever that happens I lose all motivation to keep playing for 2 or so days. Who thought killing off momentum was a good idea? Fuck, this game is an utter train wreck on so many levels.
